Visa exemption at Chiang kong

Featured Replies

Hi. My tourist visa is running out. No more visa runs to maesai. So can I do it at Chiang kong?

No problem to do an out/in crossing for a visa exempt entry there.

Have to show 20000 baht?

If you are here a lot, especially uninterrupted, and/or have several VisaExempt entries, they are more likely to ask to see the 20K Baht. No harm in being prepared, just in case. I don't like to carry that much cash, so I use travellers checks, available at Bangkok Bank.
