Metapod
Looking at doing a border run soon. I'm on a multi entry Non B visa Was thinking this time I might just cross over at Laos and then head back. After I cross the Thai side of the border, am I required to pass through Laos immigration and get a Laos visa or can I just turn around and go back through Thai immigration? I really can't be arsed spending the weekend in Laos and I'd much rather do a quick 180 and head home or hang out in Udon or Nong Khai. So whats the answer on this? expatbrit
You MUST enter another country , which involves "passing through immigration" before returning to Thailand. There is no requirement for you to stay longer than it takes to enter and exit that country.

expatbrit
Laos I believe is at least 1 night stopover hand in paperwork on day 1 collect next day . You must have missed the fact that the OP has a multi entry Non B visa ! He is not required to stay overnight !
