I didn't have a clue either so looked it up and apparently the OP is referring to remote-controlled planes. As to where they do that around here, I have no clue (obviously outside the city somewhere as I've never seen any such activity inside the superhighway or Mihadol areas).

I've seen a shop somewhere on Chang Klan (maybe between the Shangrila Hotel and Empress Hotel?) which sells remote-controlled planes (and cars, etc.). I would guess that somebody at that shop would know where the RC enthusiasts practice their rolls and dive bombing.

Not sure just turn up and check it out.If you want to get into any sort of aviation hobby get your abbreviations sorted out PPL stands for private pilots licence, hope you find them ok, if I remember one or two of the members post on here so they may answer your query good luck.

Here's another place, busy on Saturday and Sunday: N18 40 04.4 E99 06 31.8, in an abandoned mooban project (Mooban Fa Piang Din Soi). About 250 m long concrete runway, all kinds of aircrafts. Normally some westeners present.
