Hi, want to go to London then Scotland with my 13 y/o daughter. I will be leaving her there for 2 months and she will travel back herself.

Does anyone have any experience of this kind of thing? I've heard that some airline(maybe all?) accompany the child from one terminal to another and generally look after them.

Should I be looking at only certain airlines?

No personal experience with this, but I think you ought to check with British Emmigration and Thai Immigration. Perhaps the latter is not necessary if she has Thai citizenship.

The major airlines provides this kind of services.

Done with my kids a couple of time without any issue ... Airlines don't want to lose kids ... it would be messy.

I've done this with a 14-year-old Thai Airways on a domestic-flight, we saw him off at Chiang Mai & his auntie collected him at Phuket, suggest that the OP contact Thai (or whoever he plans to fly with) immediately to inquire about Unaccompanied-Minors, it might also be wise to use a direct-flight unless the child is a frequent-flyer ?

I heard that the airline staff might look after her i.e terminal to terminal during a connecting flight. Note, I'm going to Scotland, so want a cheap airlinelaugh.png
