I bought a couple of patio type lounge chairs on the side of the road. They are light, and my back doesn't sweat when things get hot. They are also cheap - 500 baht or so and light so I often move one out to my front porch. Cloth material or leather backed chairs just cause my back to end of soaking wet.

Try I think it is called Winners, on the ring road on the right side just maybe 100 metres after the light when coming from Somdet. Also you might want to try Global House, I got one in Global House Roi-et. A stuffed fold back chair with a stool, works great and about ฿3,000 to ฿4,000. In Roi-et they have a large Koncept Store that has Lazyboy type chairs.

I could bet to have seen many "'lazyboy" types in Khon Kaen, but don't remember where (more than one place).

Quite pricey stuff.

Yes I've seen lazy boy chairs in Central somewhere in excess of 40,000 baht for a single seat.

My last "Lazy Boy" type recliner lasted 22 months and was a basket case when it limped out the door. I would have been happy with 3 years and junk it. Lazy Boys here are expensive and the guaranty not much better than the generic ones. LB's start at 35,000 and up up up. I pay in the neighborhood of 8,000 bahts for a generic one. That gives me a 4 to 1 ratio and a good night on the town. As vinyl and leather sweat so much here I am amazed that they do not produce more cloth ones. For the sake of disclosure I live in Chiang Mai more selection and choice of prices.

Index Living Mall on Hywy 2 heading south out of Khon Kaen... They have a good selection of "Lazy Boy" type Recliners at various prices ranging from about 5,000 baht to over 12,000 baht... I purchased a cheaper one from them 5 years ago and it is still going strong, although my Wife has decided that it is better for her than for myself... LOL....

The other location that I would recommend is Home Pro either in Khon Kaen or in Roi Et... They have a good selection of quality chairs at various prices....

I brought a lot of furniture recently I live not far from kalasin too and I recommend:

Home plus on the main road between kalasin and roi et on your left if heading toward roi ET big massive place prices are very very good.

I did purchase from koncept/komcept store in kalasin a load of goods but if I had of known about home plus I would not have purchased from komcept although I'm happy with the goods I just think the quality is better at home plus and range is much bigger store is very nice.

What about those thai style reclining chairs varnished handmade types they are nice not sure if they are for indoor use but my mrs grandad veggies out in front of tv in his house and he looks well happy. I saw a link proposing lazada am I right that link is to a chair for 9900 baht. That seems an absolute joke of a price lazada is great but really 9900 for that.

The thai style reclining chair I mention is 3500 baht a cushion will provide extra comfort. The shop for thai style chair is on the right hand side on same road as home plus but much nearer to roi ET it probably is classed as roi ET it is that close. It's like a corrugated style outside shop all items are teak style? Varnished wood good quality last you 20 years.

We got a lovely mini dining table 4 lovely chairs from home plus last week for 3500 with free delivery. We paid on arrival of goods to home. The items arrived 40 minutes after we left shop. Komcept store also delivered fast but between the two quality wise this home plus is far better. Hope that helps.

I have use same tactic 10++yrs already and PLACE TOWEL in the chair TOP of the chair as then it covers your head down to your lower back,, easy as hell and feel very comfortable

Lazy Boy is available in Thailand. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Search "Lazyboy Thailand" for a dealer near you.

I purchased the largest & most comfortable recliner I could find, from a specialty leather shop in the US, in 1996. It was almost $1500US. It cost more than my sofa. When I moved here, it was the only furniture that I brought over. Now it is 2016, and I still use it every day. It's just getting broken in. When buying furniture, don't be put off by cost. Look for quality. So far, my chair has cost $75 per year. I'm almost certain I will get another 10+ years out of it. That's $50 a year. Cheap. When it does finally go to chair heaven, my one and only stop will be the Lazyboy store.

As an aside, the high backed, very comfy feaux leather office chair I use at my desk, cost 9000Bt. It is about 2 years old & will require replacement this year. Also note it is the fourth office chair I have bought since I've lived here. They are all just Chinese pieces of crap.

Concentrate on quality, not cost, & you will be happy with your Lazyboy.

Why don't one of you western champions adopt a thai model like yoy have done so your better halves? Seriously a lazy boy is akin to a blow up bed google breezy bed to follow latest trend ( costs about $3.50) to produce sells for circa £50. Understand a mattress something you sleep on is not a chair a mattress a good one worth its weight in gold. Try one of these 3500 thb teak style reclining chairs before you believe you know best FYI I got a Bo concept corner sofa in london I only sit on it that's it. I got an ikea cool as cucumber settee in kitchen which I fell asleep on daily watching netflix etc. Don't fall victim to your old beliefs make a change and save yourself some cash in the meantime. For gods sake seriously a lazy boy what century are you guys in this is not an episode of friends and those fake lazy boy resellers or even the slightly genuine ones are not your mates their your bloody nemesis they got your number.
