Suppose the origional owner could have invalidated part or all of the warranty by fitting non factory items ie wheels etc then refitted origionals for sale so as above check with dealer.

Yes - manufacturers will use any modification as an excuse to avoid their warranty responsibilities. Nissan qwere very good with mine and I got a lot of work done for free.
