Is original warranty valid after selling vehicle?

Yes, they are....but I'd confirm it with the Dealership before you buy.

I bought a one year old Nissan and they honoured the 3 year warranty.

Suppose the origional owner could have invalidated part or all of the warranty by fitting non factory items ie wheels etc then refitted origionals for sale so as above check with dealer.

Yes - manufacturers will use any modification as an excuse to avoid their warranty responsibilities. Nissan qwere very good with mine and I got a lot of work done for free.
