NRSA to deliberate specifics reform agendas

BANGKOK, 3 January 2016 (NNT) - The National Reform Steering Assembly is planning to deliberate specific reform agendas after the holiday period.

NRSA spokesman Kamnoon Sidhisamarn said that the reform assembly’s first main meeting is set during January 7 and 8.

Mr. Kamnoon said that the upcoming meeting will review the reform reports from any committees who have completed their work.

He added that two of the committees who are ready to join in the report deliberation are those in charge of mass communications and sports and arts.

Chairman of the NRSA committee on the reform of mass communications Air Chief Marshal Kanit Suwannet will propose to the meeting the amendment of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission Act, Mr. Kamnoon said.

Meanwhile, chairman of the NRSA committee on the reform of sports, arts, culture, religion, morality and ethics Gen. Yuthasak Sasiprapha will propose his committee’s suggestion on the sports reform, he added.

After almost 2 years since the coup based on the need to reform, the specific agenda will be discussed.

Wasnt this falicy suppossed to be sorted out last year prior to the elections last year, the new constitution and corruption reform of the various agencies.

Thats right, the military have been in retreat for that period, or in their words, going forward, just in the opposite direction.

A General is supposed to reform sports? Arts? Culture? Religion? Morality? Ethics?

Unrepresentative NRSA members all collecting a salary for themselves (and their family members) and achieving nothing of consequence for the nation - how about they reform this waste of money first.
