Big weekend freeze in Poland kills 21



WARSAW: -- Freezing temperatures in Poland at the weekend have claimed the lives of at least 21 people.

Temperatures plunged to as low as minus 18 Celsius, in what is described as one of the country’s deadliest cold-snaps ever.

Many victims are said to have been homeless people sleeping in makeshift shelters.

-18C, not really that cold for Poland. I guess with all the warm weather it just caught a lot of people out.

I remember the "refugees" being interviewed on tv news saying how they did not want to remain in Poland or Hungary, but press on to Germany at all costs....

I Hope no illegal immigrants are amongst the frozen . No , really . Except one or two maybe .
