Switching from big bikes to small one. Already drive nice 135-ccm Nuovo, 2014.

Would like to get new one. Any recommendations? What is the ideal automatic bike for in-town driving only. 6'6"/90kg.

Thank you. MS>

I like the Yamaha Nouvo elegance 135.

The Honda PCX is bigger and more difficult to park.

People also look like they are steering jetski when riding them.

Always preferred semi autos to the twist and gos but used a Yamaha Mio GSX and wasn't pleasantly surprised, economical, smooth and a wee bit nippy, maybe a bit small for your height but worth a look.

I recently treated myself to a 150 cc Suzuki Raider.

Things I like.

6 gears for flexibility. 1 down 5 up - you can't ride it with flip-flops!

Disc brakes front and rear. (Very imprtant)

Really nippy to get you out of trouble.

Has the feel of a proper motorbike - not just sitting in a chair and steering.

Down side.

No storage capacity at all under the seat. A rear box pretty essential.

I have had a honda click 125i idle stop for some time.

I am happy with that bike,,

Enough power to move 100 + kg and small enough in tight parkings etc.smile.png

IMO the nouvo 135, I have a 2010 model

I have tried a PCX 150 which is cumbersome and clumsy compared to the handling of the Nouvo

Each to their own but for handleability, acceleration, nipability and feel there isn't much can beat it on a straight start from the line in Pattaya traffic also it easier to park than a PCX

The neuvo is the natural selection for a Big Bike rider to adapt to and it can accommodate two up without any groaning
