A pup's tale

Mods by all means move it to the pet sub-forum, I just wanted the farmers to have a look first

There once was a little black and brown dog named Cartoon. He was quick and brave and always in everything. He went for walks with his master, Farang every morning and afternoon and during the day slept at his feet. He lived happily on a farm with his mother, aunty and 7 brothers and sisters. When he was 2 months old his master got him vaccinated and the travelling vet, said to do it again in 6 months. But one day Farang went to the local clinic to buy some cream for aunties itchy back and the wicked woman there who he thought was a vet said not to worry about the 6 months booster do it after 8 months.

Then one night Cartoon could not eat and the next day he could not go walking with master. But master was busy because he had to do to his extension of stay permit so he did not worry about Cartoon for 2 days. On the third day Cartoon was very tired so master took him to the wicked witch. She said Cartoon had tick fever and master let her give Cartoon an injection. Not much later Cartoon died. Farang was so upset but what could he do. He buried Cartoon. The next day he took Cartoon’s brother, who was also sick, to the vet in the big city. This vet checked everything and said that if Cartoon’s brother had been vaccinated against Parvo virus he would not be sick. But he fixed him anyway and now Cartoon’s brother is so happy.

Farang cannot forget nor forgive himself. Cartoon had no voice, Farang should have stood up for him and if proper tests were not available taken him to the big city.

Moral of the story

  1. Beware of charlatan’s posing as vets in animal clinics
  2. Be an advocate for your dog or cat, this is at least one time when the 2 minute Thai way is not good enough

Any group who in the majority believe, work, and practice ethics as displayed here will not hesitate, as been seen,

to fake anything. This might exclude the ''bin'' men / women but i want to veerify most professionals who claim expertise

from the monks to doctors.

CM has her fair share of fakes claiming to have the answer for any and all topics, problems, etc believe half of what you see and

far less to what you hear
