For decent hotels Thailand is FAR cheaper.

Internal flights are also cheaper.

Thailand is EXTREMELY SAFE, unless you ask for trouble, or are bloody unlucky. IMO.

Probably not unlike your local Chinatown. You should save the arirfare.

Phnom Penh is a fine place, every bit as good as Thailand. It's very similar to here in that folks only want to be your friend if you're buying beers or whatever. So Gabe, it may well boil down to which country has the more welcome visa situation which Bodia wins hands down. Both countries have very friendly shop owners, which is nice. The Cambodians speak much better English and many seem more educated and sincere that people I have found in Thailand
