Where can i buy an aquarium cabinet?

Featured Replies

Recently bought myself a 36"x18"x18" tank. I can't get a nice wooden cabinet for my aquarium. I searched through the JJ market and all I've found was some metal rack. The tank's gonna be above 500lbs, so I definitely need a wooden cabinet. Not a metal rack. Anyone out here knows a place to purchase the cabinet, please tell me.

I have a similar aquarium and the metal rack is fine, if not particularly attractive.

There are some places which sell wooden cabinets in JJ - if your Thai is not so good perhaps you can take a picture to show them. Might have more luck at the higher-end reef shops.

I did some Googling and found the bizarrely named 'Suckface' who has a website & FB page with a range of cabinets.

We got one of ours custom built for our required size from a shop in JJ market area. Ask around there, good prices.

Thanks for the reply, I went to JJ and asked for the custom build cabinet, 1shop offered me 12000 baht and another shop offered me 16000. Am i being ripped off or those are good price?

PS. I stated my tank size wrong, it is 36"Wx24"Lx18"H

If you can be bothered to get to Thonburi Market (Puttamonthon Sai 3) there are a lot of cabinets for fish tanks of various sizes. The fish section is open daily, better to go on a weekday than a weekend when it gets crazy busy.

Prices sound about right. I paid 13,000 baht about 8- years ago. That included everything including delivery and set-up, but not fish.

That was from JJ Market.
