Imm B Not Sure What To Do Don't Want To Leave

Featured Replies

Hi, I hope someone can help me, im not sure what to do. I currently am on a 30 visa, and i want to get a non immigrant b visa so that i can get my work permit. I was going to go to singapore this week to get one but my boss has advised that they have just had an employee refused one in singapore. He has advised me to wait until around christmas and head to Aus or Hong Kong to get one, which means doing 3 visa runs and leaving myself open to not being allowed back for 3 months. I want to make sure i can stay in thailand, if i tourist run today it will be my seventh visa stamp. Can anyone give me some advise, am i being correctly advised by my boss?

Is there anywhere where i will get a non imm b no problem

Please help.

Incidentally i am from the UK

Are you sure "your boss" even intends to help you obtain a work permit? With suitable documents you should be able to obtain a non immigrant visa prior to the work permit (receipt for application I believe is what is required). In any case I hope that you have not started working as that would leave you open to more than not being able to make visa runs.

Thai Embassy in Phnom Phen was very rude to me, if you applied for Non Imm B. All my papers are correct. I got one, but for "one time only" they stamped in my passport. They told me very rude on their counter: "This is not a good place to make visa"

Im not sure if he is or not, thats why im posting here. I did a Tesol and have my degree but he has advised me to put it off until christmas time as he says that they just had someone refused a non b with the documentation. He has advised that most of the embassies ar not giving these. Im not sure if hes giving me the right info or trying to get me towork until christmas and the palm me off
