Merkel and Hollande hold informal talks over key EU issues

Putting up a united front ahead of this month’s EU summit!

STRASBOURG: -- French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel met for bi-lateral talks on Sunday in Strasbourg to make sure they are in agreement over key issues.

They later met up with European Parliament President Martin Schulz.

The agenda is believed to have been dominated by the refugee crisis. In particular the leaders are said to have backed the EU Commission plan to help Greece control its borders by strengthening the means of registering refugees. Turkey’s increasingly crucial role in stemming the tide of migrants into Europe was also thought to have been raised.

One other major issue was the Brexit. Merkel and Hollande are keen to keep Britain within the EU and are thought to have talked about British Prime Minister David Cameron’s proposed reforms.

I suspect they will be discussing ways to silence opposition to their insane immigration policies. Merkel has already leant on Mark Zuckerberg to censor anti-immigration posts on Facebook. There have been Europe wide demonstrations against mass immigration, but you will scarcely see it in the news. Such a demonstration in France led to the arrest of a four star general who previously led the foreign legion. He stated "France is dying". Well so too is Germany, yet those responsible hold informal talks.

What is it to be ? From yesterday.

Turkey’s foreign minister was invited to an EU foreign ministers’ meeting in Amsterdam on Saturday, where he was told his country had to take in the refugees massing on its Syrian border.

Talk about the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.

So Hollande will be told by Merkel what they agree about everything. Then the German EU Parliament President - who want UK to leave, as anyone who doesn't do as Germany says should leave in his opinion, will be informed by Merkel what the positions on everything are.

Actually, more countries, like the UK, are getting fed up with German arrogance and self appointed attempted rule and judgement of other member states; and French hypocrisy, bureaucracy, and weak compliance to the Germans.

Hey Germany, the EU isn't the German Parliament, nor are the Germans running or managing it. Only in their imaginations (and dreams of course). If you can't be the boss maybe you should leave.

Europe is toast. The problem is that these liberal progressive leaders can't see how wrong they are. They keep doubling down with the same mistakes and it's too late now. The seeds of destruction are well planted and it's just one or two generations away from leaving the Western First World after self-destructing.

The most pathetic part is that they are so arrogant and dismissive of those who disagree with the trajectory they have been on for the past few decades. They have totally lost the plot while thinking that they are "better than."

No one can teach these idiots a single thing.

Goodbye. It really hasn't been all that nice knowing you arrogant bastards anyway.

Cheers.

All EU countries will have strongly right governments in 10 years.

"Strongly right" includes a whole lot more than Islamic immigration. It would include getting rid of the failed socialism and teaching people to be self-sufficient.

It's too late for all of that. The people may try to reject Islamic immigration but they won't reject their socialism because too many people rely on government for basic survival. People will vote their safety (immigration) but they will also vote their pocketbooks (socialism.) Unfortunately, the same progressives that bring us socialism also bring us "inclusiveness." You can't separate the two ideologies.

Europe was finished the very second it adopted open borders, an unelected EU "government" and socialism that's "inclusive" for all. It's just taking a few decades for enough of the rot to show up so that even the few can see the end results coming. Anyone who can't see the end coming now is deliberately blind.

Cheers.
