Politics House Chaos: First Meeting Ends in Under an Hour Due to Quorum Fiasco
Given the fact, that Thailand entered another 1st in the Guinness Book of Records on Thursday ...... no wonder. The entry was for Thailand being the first country to have the third Prime Minister in a week since Monday, and that was yesterday - Thursday. Well done, keep up the good work and carry on serving people, nation and monarchy to the best of your abilities - what a farçe and shame for Thailand and its people who certainly would deserve much better than this circus show of poorly acting muppet puppets 😞 -

Report Masked Thief Steals 130,000 Baht in Daring Thai Village Robbery
Picture courtesy of Pattaya News In broad daylight, a masked burglar armed with a knife has brazenly stolen gold and jewels worth over 130,000 baht (approximately £2,750) in the peaceful village of Huay Yai, Chon Buri. The audacious heist took place between 10am and 11am on 3rd July when 67-year-old Siriporn Kerdkum briefly stepped out for groceries, returning to find her home in chaos. “It was like a nightmare,” Siriporn recounted. “Everything was turned upside down.” The thief, described as being of medium build and around 165–170cm tall, escaped with an array of valuables: two gold necklaces valued at 75,000 baht, two rings collectively worth 60,000 baht, a diamond ring at 30,000 baht, a gemstone ring for 10,000 baht, and a nacre necklace also valued at 10,000 baht. Additionally, he seized a gold-framed amulet, a silver belt, a bowl, a Samsung phone, and a piggy bank packed with cash. Breaking in through barbed wire behind the house, close to a cassava field, the burglar fled on an off-road motorcycle, leaving distinctive tyre marks in his wake. CCTV footage, though grainy, showed the intruder wearing gloves, a mask, and a wide-brimmed hat. He methodically turned cameras away and brandished a foot-long knife while searching the premises. In a peculiar twist, footage revealed the Kerdkums’ pet dog barking, then wagging its tail, as if familiar with the masked intruder. “My mum is scared he might come back. We have elderly residents and kids around. He had a knife; it could be worse next time,” Siriporn’s daughter expressed. Initially, Siriporn’s report to the Huay Yai police was met with just a routine log entry, causing frustration. However, officers later visited to assess the situation, investigating the CCTV footage and confirming the burglar's entry point. Evidence collected at the scene remains limited. The local community is now urging the police to act swiftly, fearing the enigmatic and dangerous burglar may strike again. Adapted by ASEAN Now from The Thaiger 2025-07-04 -

Report Thailand Tightens Cannabis Laws, Dispensaries Must Transform
Stupid comment. In fact IMO that was the best thing they did in the last 10 years. Just the way it has been done is wrong. We are living in 2025 ffs, the old brainwashing for the last 70 years has worked so well... from the US. But look now, they legalised it.. just move on, make proper rules with common sense and everything is fine. Alcohol is the worst drug and freely available and its the cause of many social problems....
