Airport traffic helping Vinci’s revenue soar

Vinci Airports, the airport management arm of French conglomerate Vinci, grew last year on the strong performance of its airport concessions in Cambodia and Portugal, its parent firm reported. Revenue grew 14.4 per cent to €820 million ($913 million)in 2015, compared to a year earlier, while operating income from ordinary activities increased 25 per cent to €289 million.

The company attributed growth to increasing passenger traffic, which grew 11.4 per cent last year. “The increase was due to good performance in terms of revenue and margins at the main airports managed, particularly in Portugal and Cambodia,” it said.
