"its ok, her family can make another one" thai police.

I don't believe the Thai police said that to Hannah's sister.

It wasn't the only thing that Hannah's sister said the Thai police told her parents. Why don't you believe what she has said?

Because my experience of Thai officials, whether police, army or civil servants tells me family is very important to them- I just can't see an official saying to a family whose daughter in her early 20s has been brutally murdered - 'you can make another one'-

it just doesn't ring true to me, especially when you consider the mother must be in her 40s

And then within one or 2 days that whole post was removed from facebook..

Thanks for replying. I think we'll have to agree to disagree on this as the OP's thread isn't about the Koh Tao murders. I believe the Facebook post was removed by the UK Police.

So she was not alone in the car , and the other boy superstar survived . They were not wearing seatbelts , that has been confirmed. I don't know if any drugs or alcohol was involved but still , this is another accident on Thai roads that easily could have been avoided. Just another number for the statistics of stupid, careless driving.

I know that exit very well. It goes down and sweeps to the left. If you are unfamiliar with it and drunk and going too fast. Could be she went off too late Boom!

Are the barriers illuminated and properly identified?

Highway construction safety rules are not a big priority in Thailand.

Looks like she dropped her phone, reached down to get it and pulled the steering wheel.

That or something broke in the car. I would think she was probably on the phone dropped it and lost it.

You do not swerve like that if you fall asleep or are going too fact.

I agree though that if she used all the right safety equipment properly she would still be with us.

This video and the findings should be put into a promotion for thai students about texting and driving.

Students only because we all know that thai adults would never admit to doing this

Her boyfriend could have punched her?

Seatbelt could have saved her.

The audit found a liquor bottle in the car seat is placed alongside the driver's side. It is expected that while driving Miss.. Divine endurance, not wearing a seat belt, but Miss.. Endurance nectar to drink alcohol before or not, it must still wait for blood test results from the lab, forensic Akram, however, still have to investigate the Talmud. More injured Inspection results must be included within the crime scene specialist from the car to find the exact cause

Google translated the last paragraph.

She was driving with her boyfriend in the passenger seat.

Say what you want about nanny states, but i often try to put my seatbelt even after having it on already out of habit.

That action has been lazered into my DNA now

Ditto, have been driving for 56 years and using a seat belt for at least 54 which I fitted in my first car, this was an aircraft seat harness.

First RIP, so all the naisayers ar happy

But most likely she was a high so that thought that laws did not apply to her....

What a nasty little creep you are. I hardly think her social status has anything to do with whether or not she was breaking any laws. Are you going to tell me that poor people don't drink and drive or break the speed limit?
