Anyone know where to store this for a good price?

You can just store your apartment inside your apartment. If you wanted to store your apartment somewhere else, you'd have to rent a bigger apartment and remove your apartment from your building using a huge crane and place it inside the other apartment. They probably won't let you do that. So I recommend just leaving your apartment inside your apartment. It fits perfectly.

What did Bangkok Self Storage say when you contacted them?

What are your worries? That they'd steal your stuff? A storage company wouldn't last long if they allowed that kind of thing to go on. There are plenty reviews of them on the internet- most seem positive although it doesn't seem like there's a refund if you take your bags out early.

TripAdvisor have reviews of them. You could hang around here and wait and hope someone finds the thread and tells you what to do though based on experience I guess.

I've frequently used Bangkok Self Storage. The cost of 100 baht per piece per week is very reasonable and I've found them to be professional, clean and secure. Of course you could leave the bag for less than a week, but you'd pay the full rate for a week - which is still what the airport left luggage charges for a DAY.

Unless all that's in your bag is a few out-of-climate clothes or something, I would recommend BSS over bag storage in a hotel or guest house, because in the hotel you never know under what conditions the bag is being stored - humidity, vermin, who has access to the bag room or alcove are issues. BSS has put shelves in a storage unit, and that's where the bags are kept. It's a clean, modern, air-conditioned facility. No unauthorized people have access.

In addition, they impose no limitations on what you can store. The airport left luggage will not accept valuable electronics etc. I've left quite valuable gear at BSS without any worries, while I go down to some island to have fun in the sun and live in a beach hut.

The one downside is, you have to go during business hours to reclaim your bag.
