PHUKET: -- A man and a woman were arrested in Thalang yesterday evening (Mar 8) when they were found to have in their possession 861 methamphetamine pills (ya bah) and nearly 40 grams of crystal meth (ya ice).

Thalang police led by Lt Col Weerayuth Sithirattanakul arrested 30-year-old Raywat Pratheep and Ms Thitsiri Wimuttisuk, 26, at a home in Moo 7 Srisoonthon.

The two were found in possession of four bags of ya bah pills contain 861 pills in total and three bags of ya ice weighing a total of 39.54g. Police also seized from the pair digital scales, drug taking paraphernalia and an account book.
