colinneil Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Poor girl crippled for life. When oh when will Thais learn that chain guards are there for a reason? Many times you see motorbikes with the chain guards taken off, bet that is what caused this poor girls accident.
Don Mega Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 These sidecar things are not legal. when is the BiB gunna start clamping down on them ?

onemorechang Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 One more example of the, fantastic parental care in Thailand, we see on the roads every day. Worst bit is, the parents will just think they were unlucky. Hope she recovers soon.
JacChang Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 My heart just shivered........ the unbearable pain.
MockingJay Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Thailand - hub of safety... Hope the little one will fully recover. To believe the parents would make the necessary adjustments and install chain guards, etc. most likely is a pipe dream...

springheeled jack Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 the young girl must have been screaming in agony a very tragic situation and I hope she comes out of it fairly well.

Dumbastheycome Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 A common occurence. If not feet it is items thrown loose into the sidecar. Have two times seen such units spin out and flip because a of something jamming the wheel but as yet not a foot. My sympathy to this young victim of apthetic circumstance..
AdamRich Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Every time I see people riding in those things I think they must be crazy.
joepattaya1961 Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 These sidecar things are not legal. when is the BiB gunna start clamping down on them ? You're right, they're illegal, but clamping down on them will create other problems; they may cripple family's only way of transport and a lot of small businesses may have to transport their goods in a possible more unsafe way. I know, apart from being illegal, they're a real pain in traffic, but it's the way it is
