Seeing as we're in the electrical forum, clearly what you mean is that the pool light wires have been done in such a way that the terminations need to be made *underwater*

I don't know whether to OMG or LOL.

Well there were lots of hazards around this pool but the exposed cables were the main issue..

This pool was full of kids swimming too !! I didn't do a walk around before I swam but will do in the future...

Management was notified but sure it will remain like that..

Likely there has not been any electric running in them for a decade or two - appears an old hotel pool? ((Glass half full)).

I've just checked my copy of the Thailand Electrical Code (both pages) and it would appear that the swimming pool light wiring as shown in the picture is fully in compliance and conforms to acceptable practice. blink.png

The electrician has failed to install an amulet or any other suitable charm.

A suitable incantation may have been chanted over the "work", but without photographic evidence of a visit by a Saffron Safety Agent, it's difficult to tell.

Are there any smears of silver paint in the vicinity?

If so it is OK to use the pool.
