Only single entry tourist from Auss Since.....

Featured Replies

Since I did not realise the Perth Consulate wanted all of the papers concerning our marriage & not just the front page which was ok for Embassy in Canberra & got a single entry Marriage from them (they dont give multi )

So the question now is since i took the single tourist option ( i presume only for 30 days ) is there a way that i could extend prior to exp date based on marriage (60 days ) & then get a series of re - entry permits

Or in short shall just have to do again to please Immi

why didnt you get a multiple entry and give yourself 6 months to sort it out?

  • The SETV will give you 60 days on entry.
  • You can apply for a 60 day extension based on visiting your wife.
  • I don't think re-entry permits are going to help.
  • You could get a multiple entry non 'O' based on your marriage from Savannakhet, Laos when in the region.

I am uncertain what the front page of the marriage documentation actually is but if you want to apply for a 60 day extension you will need

  1. Copies of your passport data page, visa, entry stamp and departure card.
  2. The marriage certificate + a copy
  3. Signed copies of your wife's ID and Tabian Baan
  4. Completed application form with attached photograph
  5. Evidence of address
  6. 1900 Bht

Your wife must accompany you when application is made.
