Islamic State claims deadly bombings in Brussels

"I have nothing but contempt for any religion"

But all religions say something to the effect of: "Don't kill, don't steal" - and here's the BIGGIE - "love your neighbours as you love yourself."

I agree that these great concepts seem ludicrous in light of the world - past - present and future

We just don't listen to good advice is all..

Signed,

Supremely Obdurate

The vast majority of people I know that have a solid faith in a higher power are well adjusted, happy, good people that live unselfishly positive lives and are a positive influence on others and the world around them.

The vast majority of those that I know that either do not believe or have faith in a higher power or reject the notion of a higher power are maladjusted, bitter, lonely people that ooze negativity and think only of themselves.

I wish I had a stronger faith as I currently live my life somewhere in limbo between the above classifications.

The Muslim faith, I don't understand as I am not surrounded by those that live by those principles. I, however, do know that the way of faith around me and in my environment is a positive and I strive to have more positive in my life.

In the end, the world is full of bad people who seek to do harm to others. This is more of a reflection of their life, the way they feel about themselves and their culture and environment than religion.

Europeans will never get rid of their moslem terrorists. This will continue forever. Silly to listen to all the on-air experts citing the need for more analysts, security, intelligence, and early interdiction. You want early interdiction? Stop moslem immigration. But that boat has sailed in Europe.

Spot on.

Stop moslem immigration.

No automatic right of citizenship and right to vote after only 2-3 years.

No more permission for further construction of mosques.

Closure of all unofficial and unsanctioned prayer rooms / meeting places.

General printing ban on religious inflammatory writings, which glorify jihad.

Five years in prison who distribute these writings of hate, and calls for the overthrow of the host country.

Expulsion of all preachers of hate.

Withdrawal of existing citizenships from radical Muslims.

At first generally only temporal residence rights.

Naturalization only, if integration is demonstrably successful.

Sad, but apparently Europe is currently indeed a perfect breeding ground for terrorists.

None of that will be accepted, as the freedom to practice religion, both in public and in private, is a basic human right that comes under the United Nations and will be supported by all civilised governments.

Moderate Muslims? Are they really exists? Today i see Islam as the cancer of our world.

Yes, they exist!

Guess what?

I know some!

Not once did any of them attack me, try to blow me up or even convert me to Islam!

They are just normal people: go to work, love their children...some even join us for Friday beers!

Yes...they are just humans!

I guess, that is a sensational discovery for you!

In my opinion that footage was doctored. Clumsily too. Just look at the camera switches and the laughter when nothing amusing was said.

According to most sources somewhere around 10 per cent of snakes are venomous. And these are generally quite easy to identify. Relatively low number and simple ID matrix. In all fairness to snakes, they’re not a really danger for…most…people.

However, would you accept this low statistical likelihood of being bitten…and willingly adopt an boxful of assorted snakes to take home?

Not likely.

Why? Because it’s obviously a potentially fatal and totally unnecessary risk.

So...why on earth did Belgium consciously and knowingly establish this snake pit in Molenbeek? And...why on earth is the rest of Europe so eager to do the same thing?

It’s illogical at best and insanely suicidal at worst.

Yeah, right!

Excellent example!

So if 10% of all snakes are venomous, we should kill all and every snake, right!

Because come on...you could be bitten one day by one of the venomous ones!

So better get rid of all of them!

There are 1,5 billion Muslims in the world!

Billion!

With a capital B!

I would make a wild guess, that not even 100.000 are radicalized to a point, where they would bomb or shoot anyone or anything!

But of course, they are all guilty, because some monsters -which WE created- blow up shit!

Right wing logic as it's "best"!

Have to agree with this although I am of right wing persuasion economically There is a Mohammad at work who claims he's Hindu. Well who is he kidding? What Hindu would call his kid Mohammed? Finally he did confess that he was born Muslim but was ashamed to be one and did not want people to know. I really feel sorry for him because he is obviously a cultural Muslim rather than Muslim by personal faith.

However having said that moderate Muslims seem to be afraid of challenging in large numbers their minders. Which makes me wonder how much this is a religion of peace as opposed to being a religion of fear and control. I am open to being corrected on this by anyone of that persuasion.

Do what the Japanese do ,no mosques no Muslims no trouble

Do us all a favour and check the facts on google before writing untruths, puleeese.

To the poster that wants a definition of a Muslim- that would be anyone that follows the Koran. Allah is the same god as that of the Jews and the Christians.

Flogging the idea that they are all the same in the face of endless bombings and outrages. Mealy-mouthed at best.

Trump for president!

Sure, turn over the country to a fascist for the illusion of safety ... that's a move that works well based on history.

It might be a good idea to understand fascism before throwing the historical epithets around

Do what the Japanese do ,no mosques no Muslims no trouble

Too broad brush. Easier to kick the bucket than pour it. This sounds like Saudi Arabia. No churches, no Christians, no challenge. There ARE moderate Muslims who want nothing to do with Arab Muslims or their beliefs because they come from totally different cultures and countries. I know some, they're neighbors. Should I go kill them regardless?
