Just out of curiosity ....I am downloading to try! Seems to be varying from 4 to 6 hours to download! facepalm.gif (on wifi, perhaps I should cancel and put on the computer with ASDL....)

Will try it and report back!

Anyone tried it yet?

OK gave up on Wifi and switched to Mac Mini on ADSL line... 5 minutes to download... now to try!

oops got a double post... seems to be eating up bandwidth... downloading ^

Thanks for the tip. Downloaded and now have to figure out what to do with the bundle.

It's a bit tedious to set up, but there are some help links! Seems to be very slow to process! I cannot remember already, what or how I did it! facepalm.gif

Stupid question: I did the installation process. How do I use the plugins with Lightroom CC? Where can I find them?

If I check the Plugins, there is one Niksoftware plugin

And I can't select / install anything else.

I had to pay the new subscription to Adobe cloud as it was expired already. Then was forced to update Creative cloud software, 30 minutes. After that I'm now updating LR.. which seems to take an hour.

My thoughts are with Adobe at the moment..

It should look something like this.

Suggest closing Lightroom (and Photoshop if you have it), and re-installing. Then restart your computer.

Thanks for the advice. I tried, uninstall, install and reboot.

I can see those applications on mac:s applications folder, but the selection is not available on lightroom.

Thanks FR, that did the trick!

I was playing with one of the new toys. I shouldn't have as I accidentally managed to create a photo, which hurts my eyes.

Maybe we should have a thread "Simply silly, playing and overdoing post processing" :)

I would suggest we have plenty of such images in our existing threads without needing another one....

Have a go with Silver Efex Pro; really powerful tool for B&W images. For a start, just go through the presets till you find one you like, then try clicking the coloured dots to try different colour filter effects.

Another example, done this afternoon.
Original shot was directly into the setting sun, so it was low in contrast and difficult to make work as a colour image.

Put it into Silver Efex Pro and with a bit of twiddling ended with something perhaps overly dramatic; but it works for me and brings out the backlighting on the tail and mouth hairs of the horse.
