Brass or Bronze statue

Featured Replies

Hello all

I'm not really sure where to post this, no doubt one of the Mods will move it to the appropriate location if required.

I was in JJ Mall a week or so ago and in one of the shops there they had a brass or bronze statue of a multi headed elephant with a Ganesh riding on it's back. It was a very interesting piece and quite unique. I spoke with the shop owner about it (it was there own personal statue and not for sale), they purchased from another shop just around the corner. I spoke with them and they said it was the only one they had seen in the years they had been in business.

I've looked through JJ Mall and through Chatuchuk and I've not been able find anything like this.

So the question is, does anyone know of any decent shops / markets in Bangkok other than Chatuchuk where something like this might be found?

I have something quite similar for sale.

It's a multi headed Ganesh with an elephant riding on it's back. It's in silver.

It may be a copy. Interested?

Thanks Chickenslegs, I did the same thing and that's pretty much it. Although the one in the Website listed is for sale in OZ, made in Thailand.

So my preference is to find one here, might take some time by the looks of it.
