I do hope a MOD sees this! For over a year this Thai Visa app on my Android phone was fast and works great.

Not any more. For a few days.. "connecting to server" shows for a full minute! Sometimes.. "No Internet connection".

Why is this? The results are the same using my fast 4g connection or my 14mb wifi. Slooooooow. I have reinstalled the app, reboot.. Nothing helps.

Perhaps the app just recently did an auto update and this latest update is rubbish?

What's up TV.. Your server or this app?

I am not using any amp and ThaiVisa is extremely slow today for me on computer using USA access - so my guess is they may be doing maintenance or updating data base during the normally slower weekend. But that is just a guess.

Normally slower weekend? The weekend is when the internet seems to be busiest, which results in abysmal performance when trying to surf.

ThaiVisa is normally lower usage on weekends - people use at work it seems.rolleyes.gif

At any rate the issue seems to have been resolved for the most part - my loading seems to be back to normal.

I presume the app is a Tapatalk tailored one. Tapatalk have had a few issues recently and last night TV fell over.

The TV servers, despite all the hype, ain't that hot.

I've had a few occasions when my browser failed to connect just when I was posting, on one occasion it resulted in a double post, and I've noticed quite a few others have double or treble posted.

Not connecting often results in a loss of my post - which just happened a minute ago. Very frustrating if a long one.

Copy it before you post, just in case.

Sometimes I think to do that but normally circuit is good so get out of the habit. It seems to know when I fail to do.sad.png

My connection is very bad at the moment, I blame school holiday.

I'm getting connection errors at stupid o'clock in the morning, so unlikely it's due to school holidays.
