Resistance is futile you will be assimilated, after attitude adjustment whistling.gif

I believe Ja New has already been brought in previously for attitude adjustment. He doesn't seem like he's rolling over though.

AA is not even making a dent in their or anyone attitude, it just harden the oppositions stance and resolve. It has not work with the activists, politicians and the common folks. It's a different world from the past. Social media and handy cameras are making harder for the military to do their dirty deeds convertly. The mass media are also upfront with reports exposing the military actions. AA is working counter productive for the junta.

Once the dear PM and former general orders to pull the plug on Thailand's network,....... expect million kachillian gazillion of youngsters and generation Y kids to go paranoia crazy......................................................

The students opposed the 12-year free education stated in the draft saying it should be 15 years.

Sometimes students feel that the world revolves around them.

Surely 12 years free education is a good thing. Not satisfied, they want 15 years.

Why not 20 years so as to cater for stupid students?

Constructive criticism would be meaningful.

Maybe they feel (like most people with a brain) that university education should be free, especially if it is to support useful degrees such as engineering, medical, sciences, brewing etc.

Thailand might actually have more money to spend on things such as education if certain people weren't stuffing it into their greedy pockets through corruption or financing multi Billion baht losing vote buying schemes such as rice pledging and tablets for schools

I would support these students if they were actually protesting a worthy cause like combating corruption

Nice support offered there, labelling students "thugs" for protesting possible corruption. You might want to check your pants in case they are burning...

Ouch!

But baboon: The military investigated themselves and found absolutely no wrong doing. The generals that fled the country are just on an extended holiday you see. The military is not capable of corruption. Only the dastardly Shinawatra clan are. whistling.gifrolleyes.gif

I am sure that you did not intend to infer that free education for Thai citizens is an unworthy cause.

All Education should be free - and all children and students encouraged to learn and develop to their full potential.

Thailand needs fresh untainted leaders willing to reform the country from top to bottom - no mean challenge.

That is gonna require some massive balls, motivation and can only be carried out by people who don't have skeletons in the cupboard and are happy to allow very transparent checks on themselves and close family.

It won't happen from the current crop, and the previous Shin governments this century never tried. Only the young can drive this.

Strange how all those who investigate themselves never find wrong doing whistling.gif

Yingluck never found anything wrong with the rice scheme and its operations. She even tasked super sleuth Chalerm to "look closely". Perhaps it was one of his out of focus days.

Then the police. Outgoing chief vowed things on certain cases, ignored the obvious, and new chief does the same. Lots of transfers to inactive posts and there it all stagnates.

The military - willing to sacrifice the odd "lamb" a la trafficking but other than that its usually nothing wrong ever found.

Politicians - form committees and committees withing committees which never go anywhere or actually get anything done

NGO's - will investigate if given the green light but depends on who it is and what connections come to light.

OAG - prosecutions strictly for the poor unless they are brow beat into it.

Ethics, morals, truth, honesty, and justice are all meaningless in this context.

Right.

It's just that some posters seem to think corruption is a PTP exclusive and thank god for the army...well here are the army doing exactly the same thing! And no one can really come and "coup" them out and they are accountable to no one...Yingluck is now in court.

It's posters like smedly that get attacked for pure being so myopic to think that corruption is a one way street.
