"Science coupons" to upgrade OTOPs with science, technology and innovation

BANGKOK, 7 April 2016 (NNT) - A government project has been launched to upgrade OTOP goods with science, technology and innovation.


''Science coupons" will be allocated under the project to provide funding as well as science, technology and innovation to OTOP entrepreneurs nationwide.

The campaign conforms to the OTOP 2.0 measures in six areas: improving the quality of raw materials, production process, innovative product design, standards, packaging and machinery. It covers all segments of OTOP industry ranging from OTOP start-up groups to current OTOP groups and OTOP entrepreneurs who may plan to upgrade themselves as SME entrepreneurs.
