Price of condo units edge up 4.9 percent for first quarter

BANGKOK: -- The price of condominium units in Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan for the first quarter of this year has increased 4.9 percent compared to the same period last year with the price of mid-range condominium units priced between 80,000-120,000 baht per square metre going up by an average of 5.6 percent.

Over half of motorcyclists say they don’t normally use flyover bridges and tunnels

BANGKOK: -- Over 50 percent of motorcyclists told Nida Poll that they don’t use flyover bridges and tunnels while 43.28 percent of the respondents disagree with motorcyclists using the bridges and tunnels.

Meechai: Additional question will not confuse the public

Thailand's 'F' word: Offensive or harmless?

It went unpublished, since the magazine in question was afraid of upsetting its advertisers in Thai local government – ironic, given that my conclusion was to be that I didn’t really have a problem with the term.
