Bloody cat wedged in engine bay!

Featured Replies

I wondered why my small dog was going a bit mental under the pickup. When I popped the bonnet I see a small ginger cat just near the battery, I tried to remove it (gloves on) but it's now wedged itself down under the manifold. I'm worried if I turn the engine over it's going to get caught up in a fan belt. Any ideas as to removing it, without killing it?

Garden hose - cats do not like to be wet.

Really?

Drama over, my partner talked the cat out with a here kitty, kitty, or the Thai equivalent. Fortunately it seemed quite domesticated, if it had been wild might have been another story.

Complaining about a "Tight pussy" whatever next

Glad you got it out OK....I was almost afraid to click on this in case "bloody" was literal and cat had been discovered after driving the car.thumbsup.gif

May have followed a mouse into there

I didn't dare start the car until I'd removed it. It was only young, barely more than a kitten, and I think it wandered into my yard and got frightened by the dog. The wife removed it and put it outside and it scampered back to it's owner I assume.
