Trying to find a hotel/apartment that is very close to a Sky Train station. The maps have me confused. A 3 or 4 star would be great, hope to find a "deal." Thanks for any help, any at all!!

If you go for Silom/Sukhumvit you will probably find that almost ALL 3-4-5 star Hotels are within walking distance of a "Rot Fai Far" station.

The nearest I can think of is the Asia hotel which is actually connected to Ratchathewi BTS by a walkway and so couldn't be closer really! I think it's 3.5 star or maybe 4 star, anyway I hear it's not bad. Other very near to skytrain hotels off the top of my head:

Sala Daeng - Dusit Thani, Pan Pacific

Asoke - The Westin, Sheraton Grande

Phrom Phong - I know there are some here, just can't think right now!

Nana station has many hotels. Dynaty majestic suites are probably considered low end of 3 star, but good prices. Nana hotel always has openings if one wants to be near NEP!
