Serial predator of women arrested in Chachoengsao

CHACHOENGSAO:-- A man who preyed on women was described as "a serious danger to society" as police announced his arrest on Monday.

Some of the female victims of Charae Samriangsanoh, 22, went to Chachoengsao police station to identify their tormentor, reports Manager Online.

Several women have come forward to say that Charae, from central Chachoengsao, had molested and stolen from them. One of the victims is alleged to have been the victim of an attempted rape only foiled when a member of the public foiled the attack by disturbing Charae under a bridge last week.

In admitting his crimes against at least four women Charae had the modus operandi of following attractive women on his motorbike before cutting in front of them. He then attacked them and stole their property.

He had been arrested only last December for snatching property and was given a suspended jail term.

Chachoengsao police spokesman Thirapol Jindaluang said that Charae was "a serious danger to society and the general public" adding that it was highly likely there were more victims who had not come forward.

Give this chubby guy a long sentence, as he will surely come out of Jail

much thinner. I have a Thai friend who works in the Jail in Chiang Mai

who told me that no one gains weight in a Thai prison.

I have seen that prison and I do believe it as well.

Hey I got an Idea, have any of you expats in Chiang Mai gone to the

Farang prison there. If you do go, they really like the Bangkok post

as there is not many English papers to read. Unlike some Prisons in

Canada at least, there is no TVs to watch, except maybe one in a group area, with Thai programs, no

personal computers in the cells, and the food is not first rate.

It was a real eye opener for me to see what a prison in

Thailand was like compared to our hotel, prisons in my country.
