Yes and twenty miles outside of Korat does not make in handy for anyone without transportation.

They do not allow 90 day reports by mail. It has been 5 years since I lived there. Would they allow them online now?

The last two times I went there for the 90 day check they encouraged me to complete the next one on line - mid April was the most recent.

I live fairly close so will continue to accomplish the check in person.

Sorry to hear of your health , they should cut you some slack.

But the manual says you have to go in person. Cutting slack is not in the book

Yes. Sorry about the health issues. Maybe not worth much to you but I have been doing on line 90 day reports for the past year with no problems. Yes, Korat is my area.

This work permit is 10 years old.......................wink.png

Only 20 km from Immigration?

Where I live in rural Khampaeng Phet I travel 125 km each way to Nakhon Sawan Immigration.

Fortunately I am not ill at the moment or my wife would have to go for me.

I asked my wife to do my 90 day report the last report period. Never tried it before but heard many times it is acceptable. The 90 day staff said no, I had to do it myself, and turned her away.

The female Sgt who we usually deal with, slipped my wife in and did the report, but reiterated I needed to be present.

Haven't tried on-line but will next time.

Sorry to hear about your stroke, Meatboy.

Where was this ?

My wife always did my 90 day reports prior the on line reporting service being available. Never a problem.

Anyone can do 90 day report for you, that's why there are often agents pushing in front of the queue with a fistful of them

Korat.

I know, that's what I've heard and read many times, agents, etc., so figured it would be pretty routine. I just asked the wife again, same, said the male I/O down in the 90 day office was adamant I had to do "by my own". Was just out there picking up extension and forgot to ask about that. Maybe the guy had his knickers in a twist that day. Dunno.

You are wrong.

Online 90 day reporting is available.

Maybe your computer skills need improvement.

You are also very wrong about Korat immigration.

I have gone to the Korat office for many years and they have always been very helpful and cooperative.

Some officers in the Korat office have gone way above their normal responsibilities to assist me with problems, even going into the office on their day off to assist me.

I suspect your arse has an attitude problem.

I did a 90 day report @ Korat two weeks ago. My friend wanted to know how to do it if I got sick, so she came with me. The Immigration officers told her she could only do it if she had a letter from my Dr saying that I was too ill to travel.

The officers in the 90 day office I have found to be very helpful.

Yesterday I renewed my retirement extension, now that is a different story and that corruption is alive & well at the Korat office.

meatboy sorry to hear you are sick, stay away from the bake beans & spam. I will call in & see you in the next couple days.

Most immigration officers are OK.

Most try to help if they can.

Having said that as most members know i had a serious accident.

I was in a coma for a few weeks, when i was able to communicate with my wife

i told her the situation about my retirement extention.

Due 11th of october, my accident happened on 4th of october.

I was fined 20.000 baht for overstay.

Wife told io about situation, doctors report shown made no difference.

Your husband broke the law you pay or he gets deported.

Yes i agree some io are absolute plonkers, but again most are extremely helpful.
