I found them "by accident" and bought both. (The search function at Lazada works in mysteries ways!.)

Both items works perfect. The Inflator is automatic and not as noisy as the cheap ones.

Hard to find good ones....I brought a Masterflow Tsunami over from the US..

Always good to have on hand.....

Especially as sometimes hard to find air here....Almost a must have if you have multiple bikes & cars....

Thanks a lot.

The gauge also has 2 safety items: So useful to keep in the car or truck.

A metal point to break car windows ( except the windshield ) and a blade to cut safety belt in case of emergencies.

excuse my ignorance but how do you connect it to a motorbike/car, are there extra leads/tubes you need to buy?

Can it be plugged into mains power?

I am on my 2nd Michelin Digital Power Source (the inflator). The first one failed out after about 4 months. The second one has now been going for over a year, so maybe the first was just bad luck. No warranty on these, so you're on your own.

The fact that I bought the same device again speaks for how much I liked it when it did work though ;)

I would have expected a guarantee on the tyre inflator at that price.

I think that "no warranty" is a Google translation for "useless piece of cheap Chinese crap that wont last a month".

Hint: before buying any item in Thailand, check to see if Amazon UK sell it. If they do it will probably last for at least a year.

You are both right, and it is strange; because it has "legal" Thai import stickers on it, so Michelin should offer the warranty.

I agree with 'IMHO': It works so good, that I'm willing to take the risk.

PS! I have before found stuff I like, on Amazon UK; but the postage was more than the value of the items.

I obtained both from Big C cheap as chips.

Although the pump is a bit noisy both still working well after 6 years.

Sometimes it's just as good to buy the cheap stuff.

N/B The pump has it's own pressure gauge and it's as near a dam it, But the hand gauge is spot on. Only work off the ciggy lighter.

I wasnt suggesting ordering the item from Amazon, for the reason you gave. But as a general rule (not applied 100% by any stretch of the imagination) Amazon tend to delete items that are not of merchantable quality, which is something I dont think Lazada would worry much about as here they can get away with the "no warranty" nonsense. So I would feel happier about buying an item here if I can see that Amazon also stock it.

If longevity is in question.....

This is what I brought over with me and has worked well for years.....We used them for airing up/down for 4 wheeling.....Now it serves 6 bikes & 3 cars + balloons at family parties....

The carry bag holds all & it's easily portable....

If someone wants a Tough - long lasting airing source this is a good choice...

Just throwing it out there as a point of interest based on experience as we've veered off the path a bit.....

Pg what's the price on that looks heavy duty? Buy in Thailand?

Not sure if "in store" here but might be - I brought over....Runs about $69-$79 stateside....

They are on ebay & I'm sure other sources.....

The biggest benefit of the Michelin inflator is it's size - it's tiny - so can be stowed in the car easily. The second benefit is it's speed - it's more than twice as fast as other inflators I've tried/own. Lastly, the programmable stop point, with accurate pressure metering, means no more sitting next to your car for minutes while the tires inflate wink.png You'll hear it cycle on-off a few times when it hits the target pressure, so you know when it's just about done too.

Only downside? It can't de-inflate tires to a preset pressure. That would be useful for those times when you've gone to max. pressure for a heavy load, or want to deflate tires for driving on sand etc.

For Everest owners, note that it fits in the cubby holes under the trunk floor perfectly. None of my other inflators come close to fitting. It also has a soft bag, so it doesn't rattle when stowed either.

What a fuss me go Tyre Plus.coffee1.gif

Your friends/family and loads all meet you there when you say "sorry, I need more pressure in the rear tires before I can take you all" ? :D
