Reassigned police officers must report to their stations by May 16

BANGKOK, 11 May 2016 (NNT) - The Royal Thai Police announced that the recent police reshuffle is effective immediately and officers will have until May 16 to report to their new jurisdictions.

Deputy Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Police Pol Maj Gen Songpol Wattanachai revealed that the affected officers ranged in rank from inspector to deputy commissioner. Currently, there have been no obstacles or irregularities reported in the reshuffling list.

Police officers across several jurisdictions received orders to relocate immediately, but many officers have complained that they were unable to meet the abrupt deadline. The Royal Thai Police decided to extend the deadline to May 16 for transferred officers to report to their new stations.

"The Royal Thai Police announced that the recent police reshuffle is effective immediately and officers will have until May 16 to report to their new jurisdictions."

Are these the same police officers who were recently "fired"? If they are, they should be pounding the pavement looking for work at a new profession.

Can't rush these things. All the ducks (envelopes) were all previously happily lined up. Now there is total confusion because the owners of the ducks have to realign them somewhere else. That takes a bit of doing so time is needed.

It scares me to think what profession they would choose to work in.
