What does this ingredient label say in Thai?

Featured Replies

This is for a plain yogurt I found at Makro and I'm hoping it doesn't say it's 8% fat :-)

Also, I assume it says 91.5% yogurt, but if not then please fill me in, thanks

The 91.5% says "Yoghurt" in Thai script and as someone already said, the 8% is Sugar.

That leaves 0.5%. Where did that go ? blink.png

Air - 0.5%

Only explanation.

The remaining 0.5% must be 'the good stuff'

As the 2nd witch said......

Eye of newt, and toe of frog,

Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,

Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,

Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing

8% sugar is a lot!

Is there any indication of whether the milk is whole, low fat or skim?

Nope, only brand name and manufacturer and weight of the package.(5 KG)

They don't seem to have a website either.

I am rarely let down by Thailand but this is one of those little things about this place...

Go for the Yolida brand in Makro.... Superb

Only explanation.

In some countries any ingredients that comprise less than 1% do not need to be declared on the label (except allergens).

But 8% is still a lot of sugar!

The dark blue label of Bulgarian yoghurt contains no sugar. Have not studied the label yet...
