Best e-Commerce Website Award aimed at raising standards of online shops

BANGKOK, 17 May 2016 (NNT) - The Department of Business Development has launched the “Best e-Commerce Website Award” with the objective to encourage Thai e-commerce entrepreneurs to maintain quality and standards.

Deputy Director-General of the Department of Business Development Rattana Thianwisitsakul said there was a prediction that the value of e-commerce would be higher than two trillion baht by the year 2020. However, there are just 17,000 Thai online shops which have registered to identify themselves. The department therefore cooperated with relevant organizations in the public and private sector to search for the best Thai online shops which met international standards, said the deputy director-general.

There are three categories within the award, including management, creative marketing and credibility. Not only the award winners will receive the awards, they will also be able to promote themselves through the department’s website. Interested websites can learn more about the award by logging onto www.dbd.go.th.

Who predicted, the fortune teller?

noone is smart enough unless attached to a foreigner, to do stuff like this. When I offered secure servers, nobody. then the country got hacked. when I offered cloud service, nothing. Then everyone gets DOSed attacked. When I offered free upgraded websites to charities, nobody. now charities are being shut down. When i offered bleeding edge marketing, they all pick more expensive and awful services, agoda and fb is not the entire internet. FINE! How about software that will replace the government, and when the government FAILS TO DO ITS JOB, Corporations can come in and bid on the projects... for the people. How about that for an online shop? FIRST the Chinese railway PONZI scheme must be destroyed, that is a good start. IT has FAILURE WRITTEN ALL OVER IT. And I expect traitors who support this selling of thailand to be executed when the results are in that they took the money to repay the Chinese investors for the PREVIOUS rail project. HIRE JAPAN WITH AWESOME TRACK RECORDS AND MAINAINACE. Chinese do not maintain crap, just look at their RAIL PROJECT!! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?
