where is best place to live as an alternative to thailand, thailand government are not making things easy for foreigners to live there, i have had enough . i have been thinking about these places .

1. colombia ( decent flight prices from europe , sun, cost of living and very good visa options )

2. phils ( cheap but maybe not )

3. cambodia ( nice beaches in sihanoukville, better visa options for foreigners )

4. vietnam

5. laos

6. indonesia

7. bulgaria. ( easy access from uk and europe, low cost of living, nice resorts on coast and mountains )

I don't think Colombia visas are as easy as you think. I looked into it a while back and it sounded like a major pain in the arse, definitely harder than Thailand. Also dealing with their banking system is a nightmare compared to Thailand.
