Shaggy's Isaan

Featured Replies

Thought I would share with you all some of the people and places I have seen or visited in Isaan

Where I call home,is the small village of Nong Saeng at the Northern end of the Lam Pao reservoir, close to the Kalasin/Udon Thani border and so

many of the images posted here will have been taken in that area, others are from my travels in and around Isaan.Hope you enjoy my pics,as much

as I enjoyed taking them.

A spontaneous pose

Had been helping out up at our local temple,to help them construct a new Buddha statue. The construction was finished for the day and so I had a wonder around with my camera,

to try and grab a few shots of the folks there. These young boys had been helping out at in the kitchen, raised my camera to get a photo of them.....couldn't of asked for a better pose.

Still makes me smile, every time I see this photo.

Off to the weighbridge

A common sight to see towards the back end of the year,is farmers taking their freshly harvested sugarcane to get weighed in at one of the weighbridges.

Low cloud coverage,no wind and some diffused light gave the perfect opportunity to catch some reflections on the water.
