Vintage Marmalade

Featured Replies

I am talking the dark, thick cut, vintage, Seville orange stuff like Frank Coopers.

I have tried the Spanish nearest equivalent but they always disappoint, but voila! there is one which fits the bill.

Marks and Spencer Dark Seville Orange Marmalade, Extra Course Cut. Blows your head off. 155 baht for 340g jar.

Nothing compares IMHO.

(M+S lower ground floor, Central Festival)

That's surprisingly cheap for M&S here. Have they cut their prices?

No, that's the regular price.

A friend of mine has complained that M+S Central Festival appear to have recently stopped stocking the Dark Seville.

M&S may be vanishing altogether from here as the new CEO does not share the enthusiasm his predecessor had for global expansion. If so that will make the second time M&S have expanded globally only to retract after. And us shareholders pay these idiots to make these stupid decisions.

As for the clown who decided that the basement of Central was a good place to put an M&S store, he should be shot.

Pity they couldn't sell the unshredded marmalade.
