I had planned to retire here for many moons to come, however, just when you think it's safe to go in the water....

I'm having a hard time picturing my Grey in a crate for 30+ hours and mandatory 30 day observation at Port of entry.

Just to make it more difficult she can only enter US at Miami, LA, or NY.

Has anyone ever sent a Parrott To US ?

Save yourself from the ordeal and expense of shipping pets to the US and forget about it.

Dealing with the bureaucracy is a nightmare.

No doubt you will get replies telling you how easy it is - don't believe them.

I've been looking for an african grey for many years. If you find the process to daunting i would be happy to adopt her. I live in the country with 3 french bull dog puppies, wife and son. We all adore animals

Do you have the paperwork to prove that your bird was bred in captivity? I believe that the import of wild-caught African Greys is now banned by the U.S. so you will need paperwork to prove that your bird was not caught wild.
