An army doctor is faulted for illegally issuing doctor’s certificate for Dhammachayo

BANGKOK: -- The deputy director of Panurangsee military hospital in Ratchaburi was faulted for issuing a doctor’s certificate to Phra Dhammachayo to prove his sickness despite the fact that the monk has never been treated at the hospital.

All vocational colleges to open English Program courses over next 5 years

Labor Protection and Welfare Dept to take measures under Safe Work Thailand campaign

Three monks charged in Thailand as tiger potions, charms point to illicit trade

Thailand placed 20th out of 167 countries in Global Slavery Index

BANGKOK: -- This year’s Global Slavery Index has put Thailand in 20th place based on the country's percentage of slaves among the population. It estimates that almost a half-million people in Thailand are victims of forced labor.
