Taxis from the Dark Side into Pattaya...

Hi guys, very informative forum.

I don't drive so I'm wondering if I were to rent a place near the big lake on the East side, how much would a taxi cost into the beach. Also how frequent are they on the dark side.

You can get a red taxi at the South side of the lake or a green taxi on the North side.

Both terminate at Naklua. The max fare to there would be 50 baht.

They operate in the daylight hours, running every half hour or so.

The red one goes along Sukhumvit, so you'll have to bail out at the top of Klang and should cost you 25baht

If you want to go to the beach grab a blue taxi for 10baht.

All about colour.......and time to spare.

Meter taxis are a rare sight on Nern Pub Wan. Have a feeling GrabTaxi might be your best bet. But you will pay BIG.

The taxi I was referring to = the ubiquitous baht bus, sorry for any confusion.
