PHUKET: -- A 79 year old man died yesterday evening (June 9) when he was allegedly run over by an OrBorTor (local Administration Organisation) rubbish truck at Baan Khoen whilst riding his motorbike. It was reported that the incident occurred as the truck was making a turn at a junction near Yacht Haven in Mai Khao.

Lt Col Salis Buthnongsaeng from Tha Chatchai Police was call to investigate an accident at 6:20pm yesterday where it was stated that a motorbike had crashed and slid under a rubbish truck in Baan Khoen near the entrance to Yacht Haven in Mai Khao.

Police were told that one man, the motorbike driver, had died as a result of the incident.

Police arrived at the scene with Kusoldharm rescue workers to find a yellow rubbish truck belonging to the Mai Khao OrBorTor at the road and the body of 79-years-old Mr Mee Domluck under its rear end.
