Bangkok Bank .. Thailands Biggest ?

Their system is down Saturday am ... So ATM's not working , No cash withdrawals , debit cards not working

They say no idea when it will be fixed

Shouldn't they have a back system ?

You sure it is not just a local bank issue? Suspect you can get cash from another banks ATM if required. I just logged onto e-banking and all appears to be working there.

no I tried other banks ATM but they said communication error ...

I spoke to bank staff and the system is down on Samui .. so I assume elsewhere as well .

I just tried logging in to e-banking and it is not loading ... So perhaps just a Samui problem ..

Everything was in normal speed here in Bangkok (was loading from Singapore) so suspect phone/internet lines to your Island may have had issues.

I have been trying to use it the last half hour and getting system error, it's not working for my friend either

I made a withdrawal from a Bangkok Bank ATM in Bangkok an hour ago. I did notice the deposit ATM alongside was down but that is not unusual on weekends and holidays for some reason.

I note other report from Island of power outages and one scheduled today from 0900-1400? Perhaps in an area where battery backup has failed for communications lines (as was also down yesterday)?

BB is down in Chiang Mai.

Tried 3 times to do an iBanking transfer from my main BB account into my BB ATM card account about 1130 this morning.

Error x3, can not complete transaction. Glad I saw this thread, thought it was just me.

Anyone tried lately? I already got cash from my Krungsi account, don't want to do a needless transfer on BB iBanking.

It's started working again for us at 12.25 today... I can log in now from the phone and everything "seems" to be fixed
