I've had skype on my pc before but uninstalled it.

Trying to download it again but keeps telling me it cannot.

Is it my computer or something to do with True service.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I now use "LINE" can be used free on any device or computer. I can cut and paste documents and photos and sent them simultaneously.

If you happen to be running Windows 10 you can get it from the Store - I haven't tried it so cannot guarantee it'll work, but worth a try?

Possibly incomplete uninstallation of your former version. Just google your problem "can't install Skype on (insert your OS.)" Lots of help and instructions available online.

Yes, that`s probably the problem. Same thing happened to me. Done a search in Google and downloaded a Skype uninstall tool. Once completed was able to reinstall Skype.

You could also download the offline installer for Skype and try that. If the link isn't visible on the Skype site, google it and choose the one on the Skype URL to download.

If you go into Control Panel\Programs & Features, make sure Skype isn't showing in the installed list before using the offline installer. If it is there, try to uninstall the old Skype from here, assuming you haven't just deleted the Skype folder from the folder Program Files on your C: drive.

Edit: Depending on your operating system, the latest version of skype may not work, you may have to install an earlier version, I have seen this happen with an XP user and it may be the same for W7 as well, especially if you are using a 32 bit (x86) OS.
