PATTAYA: -- At 10am on the morning of June 14 the Commander of the Chonburi Provincial Police, Maj Gen Amphol Buarubporn, made a statement confirming the details of two successful arrests over the weekend.

In the first case the police have detained Ms. Prissana Phulailaung, (24) from Konkaen and confiscated a gold necklace. It had been reported that on June 12 a thirty-five year old Indian tourist, Mr. Lahas Lagen, was walking with a friend along Beach Road opposite the Best Friends’ Bar.

There he was approached by Ms Prissana and two accomplices who held his arms whilst the suspect snatched a gold chain from around his neck and ran away. However, she was seen again the following night, recognised and pointed out to police officers.

They believed she was about to commit another crime and arrested her. A search revealed Mr Lagen’s property and she has been charged with theft.

Two successfull arrests, necklace thief who went back to the scene of the crime in order to repeat the offence again the following night.

Then a chap who shot a car etc and turned himself in to the Police.

Cracking work from the BIB keep it up. Pattaya will be crime free in weeks.

One becomes "mind boggeled" by the speed and thoroughness of the investigation!! Well done BiB! biggrin.pngclap2.gifcheesy.gifclap2.gifcheesy.gifwai.gif
