BANGKOK, 18 June 2016 (NNT) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has invited members of the public to participate in the Pracharat reforestation project.

In his weekly TV address, the prime minister said that in celebration of the auspicious year of 2016, which marks the 70th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s accession to the throne and Her Majesty the Queen ’s 7th cycle anniversary on 12th August 2016, the government, led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, is initiating numerous Pracharat projects, such as reforestation projects entitled “nine weeks to the auspicious day”, where seeds of 10 species of vegetation mixed with molding clay will be scattered from the air by artificial rain-making planes.

The project has since started and will continue until June 30th, 2016, said the premier.

''I have reiterated to the Thai people the importance of following in Their Majesties the King and Queen’s footsteps, especially Their Majesties' erudition concerning forests, water, soil, agriculture, standards of living, the construction of ‘monkey cheeks’ water retention areas, community forests, new agricultural theories and mixed agriculture farming, he added.

We also have 882 learning centers for farmers wishing to increase their productivity and about 2,000 digital community centers launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology, which hopes to expand broadband networks and bring free Wi-Fi to more than 10,000 locations throughout Thailand, he said.

He stated that these centers must find a way to work together in order to increase the efficiency of their work and the expenditure of government funds.

The prime minister said he was seeking cooperation from international partners and has shared with them Thailand’s successful experiences in achieving development and growth in a sustainable manner through the adoption of His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, which is complementary to the United Nations’ sustainable development goals and global development agenda.

Well currently partners are scarce due to the fact that your regime made foreigners feel unwelcome. Maybe China maybe interested. They seem to enjoy stealing people identities namely APPLE. There also good at digging holes.

I think it would be great if Thais closely followed the teachings of Their Majesties. Thais should understand that they have built the Thailand we see today.
