Recommendation for a Urologist

Featured Replies

There was an issue picked up on a recent examination whilst I was in Singapore and I have to take a course of tablets and get a follow up examination from a Urologist, I live in the Pattaya area , anybody had any dealings with a good Dr that you would recommend.

Dr Pornchai at BPH. He & a colleague worked inside me for over 8 hours. Cant thank and recommend him enough

I second that recommendation! "Dr Jimmy" is the best! He'll give you the straight scoop, and won't "reach for the knife" as soon as you walk in for an exam. Explores all options before surgery.

Dr Pornchai gets my vote too. I've only ever consulted him but he seems to have a lot of integrity.

As he shoves his finger where I don't like it I thought I'd never say this but yes, yet another vote for doctor Pornchai. Doctor Jimmy is alright too but doctor Pornchai explains all in a more clear fashion for me.

I have had ongoing kidney stones issues. My doc at BPH is "Jimmy" Kongcharoen. Always straight up and professional.

For a change of pace, I was very satisfied with Dr Jessada at Pattaya International Hospital on soi 4, just west off Second Rd. I had many dealings with him for a serious issue. No surgery though, just multiple tests, all results accurate and recommendations clearly presented.

Guys thanks for the valuable feedback its very much appreciated as I much prefer a recommendation from somebody who has actually dealt with them.

hi...i know you asked for a pattaya doctor but for information sake, if you or anyone be looking for a urologist in BKK i would recommend only DR. THANOO...that is the abrreviated name.... he is at SAMITVJET at soi 49. great credentials . very good person and good doctor....

i hope that helps someone.

OP: I would urge you to be very careful with getting your decision correct here and consider going to Bangkok such as Bumrungrad hospital. I was told by a urologist in Pattaya that I needed a biopsy. This is an evasive and dangerous procedure and often not necessary I researched specialists in Thailand and found one of the top doctors in BKK. He was amazed at the advice I received in Pattaya and recommend non invasive procedure and help. My situation now is fine.
