What are the cheapest seeds and nuts in Thailand?

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get more nuts and especially seeds into my diet. Of course there's the staple peanut, which is actually a legume. I'm buying a 5 kg bag for 360 baht which is pretty darn cheap. At the local Big C there are sesame seeds and priced at 72 baht per 500 g.

Everything else rises in cost, I think cashews would be the next cheapest at around 250 baht for 400 g.

I buy them raw in a 5kg bag, Aro brand.

A bakery may be able to connect you to a wholesaler if you are using quantity.

Maybe speak to the pastry chef at one of the nice hotels.

Chia? Cheap?
